Welcome to Oaklane Glamping

Our cabins

Our cabins

Luxury, comfort, peace and quiet.

Dairach and Saileach, our first two bespoke cosy cabins, are unique accommodation options for your stay with us here in Kenmare. Luxury, comfort, peace and quiet and spectacular views, with the added bonus of having your own private space, is what you can dream of at Oaklane Glamping. Each cabin has uninterrupted views of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and Kenmare Bay.

Built in 2022, we were able to design and create our own vision of what our glamping would look like. We wanted to create the feeling of the outdoors but with luxury within, and have achieved that we believe. In 2025 we added Beithe, again with the same amazing views, just a little larger with more space to sit indoors and for longer stays. All three cabins can be booked together for a group of up to 6 people.

Our facilities

The feeling of the outdoors, with luxury within.

Inside a cabin looking out through the glass gable doors to the hills and bay

Decorated simply and tastefully with all the comforts required for a memorable stay, the cabins are very well insulated and have electric storage heaters if required on the cooler days. Wake up from your luxurious double bed with bedlinen from Irish company White and Green to see the views from the fully glazed front. With underbed storage and coat hooks for your luggage, all available space is utilised. We do, however, recommend you pack lightly — this will also be beneficial when having to push your luggage wheelbarrow up the gravel path to your cabin.

Cabin kitchenette with a Nespresso coffee machine looking out at the bay

Enjoy a simple breakfast as each cabin is equipped with a small kitchenette including sink, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Complimentary light breakfast items and a few local surprises will be awaiting your arrival. The ensuite bathroom fits neatly at the back of the cabin and includes a spacious waterfall shower, a small window with a mountain view, wash hand basin, toilet and fluffy towels, and complimentary toiletries.

Cabin windows glowing at dusk with a fire burning in the outdoor fire pit

Each private patio has a table and chairs, a charcoal barbecue grill and a separate fire pit. Access to the front is for cabin guests only, and the path runs behind each cabin to allow for privacy for our guests. We cannot, however, guarantee that the sheep will abide by this rule. Outdoor storage is available for muddy boots and walking gear. Our “Yoga Deck” sits on site, again with spectacular views and beautiful mats from local luxury wellness brand Inish Living.
