“A little Slice of Heaven Overlooking Kenmare Bay”
Unplug, Unwind, Unite with Nature
A little Slice of Heaven Overlooking Kenmare Bay” – this really is the best description of our Glamping or “Glamorous Camping” experience we offer here at our bespoke cabins on our sheep farm on the outskirts of Kenmare. Nestled on top of a green field with access to Mucksna Mountain our two cabins offer a pure and natural escape from the hustle and bustle but yet are within a leisurely 20mins walk with lovely views from the wonderful heritage town of Kenmare.
Each of our unique cabins w has its own private space with outdoor seating area and charcoal bbq grill and seperate fire pit. Access will be via a gravel pathway from the parking spot. Luggage can be loaded in your own wheelbarrow provided at your parking spot!
Our latest Reviews
Facing south west from the front you will have the most wonderful sunsets each evening over Kenmare Bay while in the mornings the sun rises just behind the cabins. NEW FOR 2024 is our Yoga Deck just behind the cabins where you again have magnificent views and green all around to assist in making your “practice” even more beneficial. It is also just a short walk to the top of our farm through the yellow gate for the lovely summer sunrise overlooking the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and Kenmare Town. You will only have the company of our sheep quietly grazing, a hare or a pheasant or maybe one of the wild deer that roam the hills in this area. A great way to start the day in Kerry.
Bring your picnic blanket provided and you will have ample private and quiet spots on the hillside or in the wild woodland to have a lazy lunch, read your favourite book, meditate or just enjoy the views and nature. Evenings can be spent enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sun setting behind the majestic MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and soaking in the wonderful clear night skies we have in this area. On those damp days retire to your cosy cabin and let the sound of the rain gently put you into a deep and restful sleep.

Kenmare known as “Neidin” or Little Nest describes this beautiful planned town to perfection. With its vibrant shop front colours, lovely green area in the middle of town and happy, relaxed atmosphere its no wonder people who visit for the first time always come back again and again – some even choosing to relocate or have one of the many lovely holiday homes in its surrounds.
We know this area of the Kerry on the Wild Atlantic Way is already so popular with many visitors seeking real natural beauty, wonderful hiking on the Kerry and Beara Way, cycling the quiet backroads, touring the Ring of Kerry or Beara Peninsula and some of the best cafes and restaurants in the country make this the ideal base for a great escape to South West Ireland. In fact, Kenmare was just recently listed in CNN Travel as one of the Europe’s most beautiful towns.
